For the third season, The Villa Holiday Speciailists is delighted to extend its Mallorca programme with the stunning opportunity to see the true beauty of this magnificent Island’s coastline from the sea. Within a short distance of both Cala D’or and Puerto Pollenca are many unspoilt and often inaccessible bays where you can enjoy peace and tranquillity - Anchor offshore and swim in the turquoise blue waters onto sandy white beaches.

There is nothing more relaxing than an afternoon bay hopping and picnic, returning to harbour for a tea time gin and tonic on the Marina. Or more ambitiously take 2 or 3 days to sail right around the Island, either staying overnight aboard, or enjoying the comfort of wonderful hotels in Palma or the fabulous Port de Soller. Or there’s the opportunity to whisk over to Menorca (2 hours from Pollensa) or Ibiza (3 hours from Palma) with a cruising speed of 30 knots.

This fantastic opportunity is available to The Villa Holiday Speciailists  clients thanks to our partnership with Blue Sky Cruising Limited. From the 2006 season Blue Sky have undertaken to provide us with a brand new Fairline Phantom 46 luxury motor cruiser. Handcrafted to the most luxurious specification and costing nearly half a million pounds, the “Blue Ocean” will be skippered by a Director of the company, Ronaldo Valencia. For many years holiday makers have enjoyed Ronaldo’s unique charm and love of the sea, originally on “eco – tours” in his native Mexico and for the last two years in Majorca. A fully qualified RYA Yachtmaster Instructor, scuba diver and cave diver – Ronaldo can offer a whole variety of lessons on board (for those that want to)and guests from grandchildren to grandparents will enjoy his charisma and seamanship, adding to the uniqueness of the experience.

Blue Ocean can be chartered in either 3 or 6 day cruises. The price includes boat charter, skipper, moorings and a selection of refreshments and soft drinks every day. A champagne reception on your first day is also provided to ensure you start your holiday in ultimate style.

Meals, additional drinks, activities and fuel will be charged locally as extras (price list and ordering can be arranged in advance). A hostess can also be provided at a daily rate to prepare food and serve drinks or even to keep the kids (young and old) entertained. This is your holiday and on initial reservation one of the Blue Sky crew will contact you to have a chat about how they can make your time on board as memorable and enjoyable as possible.

The boat can accommodate 6 guests overnight and up to 10 guests for day cruising. We have also managed to negotiate a daily or weekly membership with the breathtaking Yacht Club Cala D’or. Newly built in 2005 this exclusive club boasts 2 lounges, a bistro, a fabulous restaurant, business suite with internet facilities, childrens games room complete with play stations, air conditioned gym and beautiful infinity pool overlooking the harbour with luxurious changing and shower facilities. The club is available to our guests to use all the facilities or to simply have a drink in the bar or eat in the restaurant.
