 A great cottage-style villa, just an easy walk from the heart of Pollença’s old town. It’s a bright and simply furnished family house with a really lovely pool and secluded gardens surrounded by tall trees. It’s in a quiet part of La Font, an upmarket residential area of Pollença with great views of the mountains of the Sierra De San Vicens.
Inside, the principal rooms are at ground level. They’re decorated in classic Mallorcan style with white walls, tiled floors and beamed ceilings. The lounge and dining room has great views of the garden and a door leads out from here onto the raised terrace. There’s a sofa and a dining table and chairs here, and satellite tv and a dvd and stereo. The kitchen is at the corner of the villa and again has great views over the terrace and pool. Appliances here include a dishwasher. There’s a separate utility area at lower-ground level.
There are two light and airy bedrooms at the villa - a double room and a twin room. The double room has lots of storage space in fitted wardrobes. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned and have lovely views out to the trees surrounding the garden. They share a full bathroom with a bath and a shower.
The pool and garden have been really thoughtfully designed with a long pool surrounded by sun-terraces, as well as lawn area and lots of tall trees. Above the pool there’s a raised area with a covered barbecue terrace. And there’s also a roof-terrace which really makes the most of the wonderful country views of the La Font area.
Villa Las Encinas is a great family villa in a super location so close to Pollença’s old town, and with spacious and private gardens with lots of different areas to relax in and explore. The house is in a very quiet place, down a drive behind electric gates but all the best things in part of the island are still close by - it’s an easy 20-minute walk into Pollença and the beaches and resort of Puerto Pollença are just 5 minutes away by car.
