This villa is a simply wonderful. The name derives from the Monte do Casal which is a small country house hotel in the ancient 13th century hill village of Estoi, in the Algarve, Portugal. It is a member of the ’Small Luxury Hotels of the World’. In the grounds there is this wonderful 6-bedroom luxury villa which Villaparade are lucky to have the exclusive rental rights.
Villa Monte do Casal has six Luxury bedrooms in the grounds overlooking the heated swimming pool as well as the luxury whirl pool for hydro-massage near the feature barbecue area with kitchen facilities and beautiful gardens including waterfalls and rock-pools. The bedrooms are a three minute stroll through the gardens to the hotel and award-winning michelin receommeded restaurant and a cocktail bar. There is also a spa and gym and putting and croquet green. A daily luxury Breakfast is included in the price served on the terrace.

The villa is located in a protected preservation area close to the ancient hill village of Estoi yet only 15-minutes from Faro airport.
The heated infinity swimming pool has been beautifully designed with the water almost reaching the level of the surrounding tiled terraces . The tiled steps leading into the water has been designed There are sun beds and drink tables around the pool and on the lower terrace by the pool waterfall. The heated swimming pool has a waterfall to a lower rock pool and terrace. The swimming pool and rock pool has underwater lighting at night to make easy access.

There is a large wooden beamed Drawing room with luxury sofas and furniture, fireplace,, bookcases, watercolours and oil paintings. There is a CD audio sound system and satellite television. The Drawing room has large French windows leading to the heated swimming pool and spacious sun terraces. There is a large fully-fitted kitchen with all the modern amenities.

There are four deluxe bedrooms with sea views and two garden twin bedded rooms. Each bedroom has a private luxury bathroom en suite, direct dial telephone and a private terrace where breakfast is served each morning. The luxury bathrooms have been designed and equipped to the highest level with white marble surfaces and mahogany furniture. The rooms also have hand-painted “Azulejos” bed-side lamps. Each room has an individual air conditioner which can either heat or cool the bedroom. In some of the bedrooms there are “Casablanca” overhead fans. There is also a radio and CD audio system in each bedroom with a complimentary specially prepared CD gift to remind you of your stay. The two twin bedrooms are on the ground floor as well as one of the deluxe bedrooms by the pool and the other two on the first floor, with private balconies. The Waterfall Suite is below the ground floor – and next to the 7 rock pools illuminated at night. There is a private garden here. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with shower and bath, safes, tea and coffee making facilities. There are complimentary Molton Brown toiletries, luxury towelling robes, 100% cotton sheets and 20cm extra large “rain-forest” showerheads with separate controls. The Waterfall Suite has a larger bathroom, with a Jacuzzi in the first room, following into the bathroom with a very large walk-in shower. All the rooms are large and have various sizes: Twins: 15-18 sq mts.
Deluxe: 17-21 sq mts. Waterfall Suite: 36 sq mts. Bathroom: average 6sq mts. Most of the bedrooms have excellent panoramic views.

There is maid service every day. She will serve breakfast by the pool, and clean, tidy and make up the beds in the bedrooms.
The gardens and pool are maintained by a full time gardener.
The spectacular panoramic views from the pool and first floor terraces are outstanding. Wonderful views over unspoilt countryside to the sea and the islands of Culatra and Armona.
There is a drinks service which can be requested around the pool and afternoon tea at 4pm
The beautifully landscaped gardens have a variety of plants , bushes and trees including Bougainvillea, Hibiscus , flor de Rosa, Geraniums, flower around the pillar, wisteria , plumb . There are two waterfalls in the garden with rock pools. The beautifully landscaped gardens have been laid out with paths and wooden benches. There is also a stream running through the gardens to another rock pool., Almond and Jacaranda trees. The paths, terraces and the two waterfalls in the garden are fully lit at night.
This impressive large waterfall feature operates with two separate pumps to create different water effects during the day. The smaller pump creates a soothing effect whilst the two pumps together generate a water flow of more than 80,000 litres per hour.. a smaller version of Niagara Falls! There is a wooden bench to the left of the picture, near the weeping willow, where you can relax..
In the rock pool below there are water lilies and a variety of fish including Japanese Koi Carp and Golden Orfe. The waterfall is creatively lit at night including underwater lighting, creating a spectacular effect.
There is also a smaller waterfall with rock pools near the main pool terrace. At night this waterfall is also creatively lit with underwater lighting. The lower rockpool is stocked with Oriental Goldfiish, Lionheads and Orandas.
The lower rock pool is also stocked with Oriental Goldfish, Golden Rudd and Golden Trench.
The Private Garden in the Villa is just over 1000 square metres.
There is a chip and putting green is on the way down to the Hotel, on the hotel grounds, but can be used by guests in the Villa. The gym is next to the Villa, but is open to our hotel guests also and there is a helipad on the property for some exciting excursions or just to take to go and play golf.
The breakfast is included in the price, this is a luxury continental breakfast which is served by the pool.

With the hotel in the immediate vicinity you can dine in the Michelin approved first class restaurant and use the cocktail bar and also massages and spa treatments can be arranged. This is surely one of the best properties on the Algarve and a unique experience for anyone lucky enough to stay here. (evening meal in the hotel supplement £40 per person includes canapes and 5 courses)
